Cancellation & Refund Policy

The AI Foundations Workshop is an in-person event with a capped class size of 25. Cancellations affect seats we cannot easily resell close to the date. Our policy is handled through Humanitix's self-service tools so you can manage refunds and cancellations on your own timeline within the eligible window.
Participant cancellations
- 7 or more days before the workshop: 75% refund, processed through self-service in Humanitix. Use the Manage Order link in your confirmation email to action it yourself, anytime.
- Fewer than 7 days before the workshop: self-service refunds are not available. Contact us at info@aiengines.work if you cannot attend, and we will work with you on transferring your seat to a named replacement or to a later cohort within 12 months.
The 25% retained on a self-service refund covers Humanitix booking fees, payment processing, and our cost of holding the seat. We do not see any portion of that retention.
If we cancel or reschedule
If we cancel a workshop for any reason, you receive a full refund or a priority seat at a future date, your choice. If we reschedule, we'll contact you with the new date; your seat transfers automatically unless you ask for a refund.
Weather and travel
Indiana weather happens. If we reschedule due to severe weather, travel closures, or a venue issue, the rescheduling rules above apply.
How to request a change
For self-service refunds within the 7-day window, use the Manage Order link in your Humanitix confirmation email. For everything else (transfers, late cancellations, group bookings, special circumstances), email info@aiengines.work with your name, the event date, and what you need. We reply within one business day.
Group bookings
Bookings of five or more seats are handled case by case in a written agreement. The terms in that agreement govern cancellations for that booking.
