The 3-hour Focused Short Course and one-on-one coaching run live online anywhere, so this training is open to churches outside Indiana. In North and Central Indiana, the full-day workshop runs onsite, and the short course can run onsite too.

Policy before tools

A short written policy before staff training makes the rules clear. AI governance training is a short course that helps teams put guardrails around AI use. It runs for 2 hours, in person or online, usually for a leadership team of up to 8.

Who teaches

Mike Jones leads every session. AI Engines is veteran-owned, with its home base in Marion. James Weaver joins as co-trainer for groups of 13 or more.

AI Engines has trained teams and individuals across Indiana and beyond, including a rail company (Capstone Rail), Chapel Pike Wesleyan Church in Marion, New Life Church in Colorado, other churches and nonprofits, K-8 teachers at a Catholic school network, and university faculty and staff. Founder Mike Jones has onboarded 250+ faculty and staff to AI.

Is AI appropriate for ministry work?
Yes. It fits logistics and planning when the pastor stays responsible for the people. Pastoral presence and spiritual formation stay with the pastor, and pastoral confidences stay out of any AI tool.
Can pastors use AI to help write sermons?
AI can help with research, outlines and logistics, but the message and pastoral judgment stay with the pastor. Keep prayer requests and pastoral confidences out of any AI tool.

Price depends on your group size, the format, and travel. See your price in about a minute. The day includes materials and a small AI helper tuned to your ministry. Lunch is an optional add-on. We've worked with churches, and a small team (pastor, communications lead, office admin) is a good place to start. The cost can be split across budgets. Want something shorter? The 3-hour short course runs onsite or live online.

Good. Skepticism is an asset here. We give you the framing to bring concerns into the conversation, not around it.
